The Ascension Youth Cafe is a safe place for young people to meet up and chill out after school whether they are looking for a place to meet friends, somewhere to sit and get the homework out of the way early, or just while they wait for a bus. Based in our specially equipped facilities at the Salt Cellar we have a place for buying drinks, snacks, and warm food. We have plenty to keep everybody entertained with a pool table, free internet access, games consoles, air hockey, and plenty of space to just sit and chat. The Ascension Youth Cafe provides a safe, relaxed atmosphere for any school-aged young people. 11-18yrs

Student Cafe

Starting this year (09/10) we opened our cafe facilities to college students everyday during the week at lunchtime. If you’re looking for a chilled out, warm place to come and eat your lunch and have a chat we are open for a couple of hours in the afternoon, come and give us a go, see what you think. 16+
